Hi, my name is Gaëlle — pronounced gah-EL. Yes, it's French.
Muddle On Studio is my laboratory of expression.
I came to ceramics to get my hands back into the making — into the material, into the messy and beautiful physicality of life.
I fell all in.
There is a unique conversation happening between body and clay. And the only way to perceive it is to slow down and pay attention. You start with an idea but you’re soon improvising with the shifting mud. You learn to let go, embrace the unexpected, accept what is.
Poterie has been my bridge — from Paris to the US, building a new community one pot at a time. Each piece carries something of that journey: the delight, the connection, the quiet weight of the present moment.
From functional objects to wearable art, the experience is always multidimensional — you touch it, feel it, hold it, and for a moment, you are here.
My hope is that when a piece finds its way into your hands, something of that presence travels with it.
